Island of Mljet

Part of the Adriatic Islands of Croatia, the Island of Mljet is the greeneast island, dominated by forests and full of Mediterranean vegetation that includes grapes and olives. The Island of Mljet has two saltwater lakes that are part of the Mljet National Forest. The isle of St Mary in the Great Lake has a Benedictine monastery and church that dates back to the 12th century.
